Most Eclipse Bloom players hit the same wall: the plant takes ages to mature, burns through watering cans, and still may produce a smaller harvest than expected. A smarter setup gives you more control over that process, especially when you're managing GAG 2 Items and testing different garden layouts instead of relying on luck.
What Makes Eclipse Bloom So Flexible?Eclipse Bloom comes from merging a Sun Bloom with a Moon Bloom while using a Trowel. That simple combination creates a secret-rarity plant with a very different growth rhythm.
The useful part is that your setup isn't locked. You can change the Firefly count, move the pot, swap servers, and test growth results without rebuilding the entire garden.
1. Build the Eclipse Bloom CorrectlyThis route suits players who want a clean foundation before spending rare resources. The merge itself is easy, but poor placement can waste time.
Keep these setup points in mind.
• Place the Sun Bloom and Moon Bloom beside each other before using the Trowel.
• Check that both plants are fully positioned in the garden and not blocked by nearby objects.
• Expect Eclipse Bloom to grow slowly, even when the merge works perfectly.
• Save your strongest watering cans until the plant has entered its active growth stages.
A correct merge won't make the plant grow instantly, but it prevents avoidable mistakes. You'll want the pot in a spot that's easy to pick up and place down later.
2. Use Fireflies for a Larger HarvestThis branch is aimed at players chasing heavy fruit rather than quick maturity. Fireflies look weak at first, but their bonus may become noticeable when several are active together.
Players usually watch for these effects.
• Each Firefly is reported to add roughly 2% to the size of newly planted crops.
• Multiple Fireflies may stack when they're placed or activated in the same server.
• Community tests often point to a practical limit of about 50%.
• Reaching that limit would require around 25 Fireflies under the commonly reported rules.
The wording still matters. The game says "newly planted crops," not "harvested fruit," so the bonus may affect the plant model instead of the final weight. Treat the biggest claims as unconfirmed until more testing is available.
3. Test the Pot-Movement Growth TrickThis method fits players who already own an Eclipse Bloom and don't want to spend dozens of Super Watering Cans. It was never a stable feature, so server age makes a major difference.
Here are the reported steps.
• Apply a Super Watering Can to the Eclipse Bloom.
• Pick up the flower pot after the watering effect has registered.
• Place the pot back in the garden and check the growth stage.
• Repeat the move several times if the plant keeps advancing.
Older public servers reportedly allowed the trick to work repeatedly. Newly created private servers appeared to have the fix, so the same action may do nothing there. Don't waste your whole stock of cans testing a patched server.
4. Combine Growth Speed With Fruit SizeThis setup is for players who want both a mature plant and a heavy harvest. It takes more planning, but it can produce better results than focusing on only one bonus.
A practical combination looks like this.
• Grow the Eclipse Bloom in a server where the pot interaction still responds.
• Keep Fireflies active before planting or starting the next growth cycle.
• Record the plant's weight instead of trusting visual size alone.
• Compare results across several servers because bonuses may not behave identically.
Reports of 80-kilogram Eclipse Blooms are already circulating, while larger results remain possible if the Firefly bonus and old growth behavior overlap. Server updates can remove either advantage without warning.
Which Eclipse Bloom Strategy Should You Choose?Choose the standard merge if you want reliability, Fireflies if your priority is fruit weight, and the pot test only if you're comfortable with a temporary server-dependent glitch. If farming takes too long, many players choose to buy Grow A Garden 2 Items through U4GM, then save their time for testing rare plants and new garden mechanics.
