The next Delta Force season isn't being talked about as a small balance pass. It feels more like a proper shake-up, especially for players who live in Operations and want something riskier than another standard extraction run. With test server recruitment already opened in China and early testing expected soon, people are getting their kits ready, checking builds, and even looking ahead for Delta Force Items before the new content lands. The first test phase is said to be private, so don't expect clean footage right away. Still, the second round should give more players a real look at what's coming.
A nuclear plant that could change the paceThe big talking point is the Nuclear Power Plant map for Operations. This isn't just another place with new rooms and loot boxes. From what the developers have teased, the map may push players into dealing with a crisis while they're also fighting squads. Reactor heat, unstable readings, radiation pockets, warning systems, and Geiger counters have all been mentioned. There's even talk of a SCRAM button, which sounds like the sort of thing that could flip a raid from calm to panic in seconds. You might win the gunfight and still lose because you ignored the alarms. That's the part players are watching closely.
Dark matter and the story behind the raidSeason 10 also seems tied to the ongoing dark matter fuel storyline. Recent missions and trailers have dropped hints about hidden shipments, GTI activity, and research that probably shouldn't be happening in the open. The power plant would be a good place to bring those threads together. It gives the map a reason to exist beyond "go in, grab gear, leave." If the branching endings are real, squads may have to choose between chasing profit, stopping a disaster, or triggering something worse without fully knowing the result. That kind of tension suits Delta Force pretty well.
Warfare may get a tighter city fightOperations isn't the only mode getting attention. Warfare players have been looking at teaser images of a wrecked European-style city, and it looks very different from the more open maps already in rotation. Narrow roads, tram lines, burned-out buildings, rooftops, and broken sightlines all point toward heavier infantry combat. Vehicles may still matter, and helicopters could have room to work above the wider streets, but this doesn't look like a map where you can relax in the open for long. Corners will matter. Windows will matter. A careless push through a street could get punished fast.
What players are preparing for nowThere are still questions around Season 10. Beacon Challenge Mode could reach more regions, the rumoured Desmoulins boss mode has community interest behind it, and the Unreal Engine 5 upgrade may be pushed to a later season rather than arriving here. Even so, players aren't waiting around. Many are testing loadouts, saving resources, and checking trusted marketplaces such as u4gm for game currency and item services so they can step into the next update with fewer gaps in their setup. If the nuclear map works as teased, Season 10 could be one of those updates that changes how people plan every raid.
